The Society for Kona’s Education and Art and Aloha Quilters present “Something Fishy,” a quilt and fiber Arts Show, this weekend in South Kona.
The two-day event features a gorgeous display of handmade, locally made quilts and fiber pieces in a variety of styles. Admission is free, and there is plenty of parking in the back.
The show runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
SKEA is located in Honaunau at 84-5191 Mamalahoa Highway.
SKEA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing activities in the arts to the people of South Kona. This event is sponsored in part by the County of Hawaii, the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and by the National Endowment for the Arts.
